TECH DEV: My digital.dudley Avatar. D-iD, 11 Labs, Flux, GPT3.5
Ask my Avatar any question about the future of marketing here www.dudley.digital
The way Humans & Machines interact, and how this will affect business, marketing and culture, has been a key focus of mine over the past decade. We are now starting to have significant emotional relationships with Machines as our assistants, mentors and friends. Culture is shifting to accept and understand this behaviour and even 'social AI' - where we chose to socialise with multiple AIs - is coming of age.
For brands, this is what i’ve called, 'the closing of the Avatar to CRM loop' where Avatars, owned by brands, interact with, help and entertain consumers, replacing traditional CRM systems. Enterprises use the same technology to increase efficiency, reduce costs and improve work output quality and quantity. And we are now toward 'Agentic AI' where the AI actually helps AI executes job activities on your behalf - both at work and at play.
This tech can be confusing, there are many pitfalls and issues with it in its current form. One of the most useful things I think I can do is to demonstrate the possibilities and limitations of this tech through Avatars we have made. This way, businesses can evaluate the tech for themselves. This includes the different types of Avatars, Conversational AI, AI Agents and Co-pilot tech we have used.
As such im going to start publishing different experiments we have worked on with my Virtual human colleagues, @Kerri and @Cordelia and put the tech on www.dudley.digital for you to play with. These are not owned by brands we work for so I can publish them. They are not perfect, we are aiming to demonstrate quick, low-cost examples of AI Avatar tech and the possibilities.
The first is an Avatar we made a while ago using the D-id platform. We voice cloned with 11 labs, the imagery is stable diffusion, the GPT is chat GPT 3.5 and the Avatar is fuelled to answer questions about the future of marketing (and nothing else) by my blogs and videos.
Let me know your thoughts, we will be publishing more over the next few months, using the same docs to fuel the GPTs so we can measure the effectiveness and evaluate the different platforms, and we will be doing ‘Enterprise’ Agents aswell, demonstrating how those work within companies to improve efficiency.
