PRESS: Why I told Bloomberg AI needs a 'human in the loop'
As Machine Learning and Ai systems start to get traction in the mind of the public and on corporate boards we are getting to a point where there is a little bit too much trust in the system. I spoke to Parmy Olson from Bloomberg about this at Ad Week, saying, that companies using AI need to remind themselves of its likely mistakes.
“People need to hear, Look, it's not a likelihood that this machine will get some things wrong. It’s a definite, we have over 10 people on staff as domain experts, most of whom are trained to carry out a hybrid role between coaching an AI system and understanding the industry it’s being used in. “It’s the only way to understand if the machine is actually being effective or not,”
